We are seeking a tech-savvy and eager-to-learn Helpdesk Intern to join our IT support team. As an intern, you'll assist with resolving basic technical issues, supporting end-users, and learning the fundamentals of IT operations in a professional environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Helpdesk Intern is expected to:
- Answer incoming calls, chats, and emails regarding technical issues.
- Document all issues and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to support documentation.
- Assist users with password resets and basic application/network troubleshooting.
- Provide clear, step-by-step instructions in a non-technical way to users.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when dealing with frustrated or confused users.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-tier support teams.
- Consistently meet target dates for duties and assignments.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of knowledge-sharing and train team members and coworkers when needed.
- Assist with inventory control, vendor management, projects, and other duties as assigned.
