Summary:

Vighter LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. The Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our clients' employees and the corporate team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training delivery techniques.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to assess training requirements and develop customized training solutions.
  • Assist with the design and development of engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids.
  • Deliver training sessions in both classroom and virtual settings, ensuring that content is delivered in an engaging and impactful manner.
  • Facilitate interactive discussions, activities, and simulations to reinforce learning objectives and promote knowledge retention.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback sessions, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including participant attendance, feedback, and evaluation results.
  • Ensure that training is accomplished as required (i.e., upon hire, monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Functional proficiency and ability to document patient-centered health care in the required electronic health record or electronic medical record, in the required format, in a timely manner, and in compliance with contract policy and guidance.
  • A deep sense of purpose and dedication to the United States and our U.S. Military Veterans, their Families, and other patients as assigned.

  • Knowledge of regulations (HIPAA/Privacy Act) regarding the confidentiality of patient medical records and information as well as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Provide training and support to remote employees on timekeeping systems and processes, including troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on using timekeeping tools effectively.
  • Stay informed about changes in timekeeping technology, regulations, and best practices, and make recommendations for updates and improvements to timekeeping processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Work experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree will be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and training delivery, preferably in a corporate or professional training environment.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and webinar delivery tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Apple, Google applications.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with clients in government or military sectors.

Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:

  • Generally speaking, the corporate office is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; however, during times of rapid mobilization, hours may be extended to include days, nights, weekends and holidays. The are opportunities across a multitude of locations and shifts.

Travel:

  • As required to satisfy the contractual obligations. Generally, travel is limited to commute from residence to the worksite. Commute is non-compensatory. All official travel is government-funded.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day.
  • Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
  • Must be able, with advance notice to float to surgical sites within 15 miles.
  • Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 10 feet.
  • Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.
  • Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
  • Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment
  • Must undergo Urine Drug Screening (UDS).
  • Positions require applicants to be US Citizens, 21 years or older. 
  • Must complete criminal background check, and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) background check.
