Primary Responsibilities
- Distribute work assignments from the Field Operations Manager to Technicians.
- Monitor production and quality reporting of all Technicians.
- Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Technicians.
- Utilize data transfer tools and web maps for accessing and uploading files as necessary
- Proactively report any issues observed with Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Area Manager
- Manage inventory of equipment used by Technicians including cones, signage, logo magnets, first aid kit, dog repellent spray, batteries and highlighters.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of water distribution, systems and operations of valve assessment, hydrant maintenance and flushing, unidirectional flushing, valve and hydrant repairs
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
- Must be able to walk on various terrain, work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in using current technology; smartphone, tablets, MS office tools, etc.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
