About the Job:

As a Retail Marketplaces Account Manager, you'll be the primary contact for assigned clients, and manage a small team of specialists to execute customized account management and growth plans for your client book on Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retail marketplaces.

This role is one that is challenging and rewarding as you are responsible for setting the overall strategy for brands new to Amazon, as well as those who are established and looking to drive progressive growth or solve business challenges.

This position reports to a Team Lead.

A week in the life of a Retail Marketplaces Account Manager

  • No-stress commuting. You work from home so your daily commute is only the amount of time it takes for you to walk into your home office or travel to your favorite coffee shop for a change of scenery.

  • Operational Performance. You work closely with your Operation Specialist and Account Strategist to delegate tasks related to the scope of work for each client, as well as navigating high-level strategies and the steps required to move the needle forward.

  • Communication. Your work calendar has internal & client appointments to present the latest results, activities and planned tactics for the upcoming 90 days. You’ve gotten to the essence of clients’ needs and identified the ways Acadia can be their guide to achieving them.

  • Collaboration. Acadia is a team of go-getters, innovators and industry experts.  Over the week, you communicate with colleagues to exchange experiences and coordinate with team members who work on other aspects of the client business (retail media), defining strategies that are aligned with one another.

  • Innovation. You check out the industry to see what strategies are new to drive growth across retail marketplaces. You use that as inspiration in your strategic plans for your clients.

  • Reporting. You report to clients in your portfolio on a weekly/bi-weekly basis delivering the data but also the story behind the data, and next steps to improve performance further.

  • Trends. You quickly identify trends within the accounts you manage and take appropriate action to course-correct or expand on successful strategies.

  • Thought Leadership. You contribute to the company owned blog as-needed, and other live events where you share your latest views on Amazon’s & retail marketplaces developments and opportunities.

Before you know it, another week has come to a close and you go into the weekend energized, knowing you’ve once again contributed to the growth and success of Acadia and the brands we support.
