SUMMARY
|
The Electrical Installation Supervisor leads the on-site coordination and execution of electrical installation work of electrical contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to and compliance with National Electrical Code [NEC], National Electrical Installation Standards [NEIS] code, and TGW controls standards and quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- Coordinates and supervises all electrical installation activities of TGW personnel and subcontracted labor.
- Works closely with assigned Controls Project Manager and Onsite Manager to ensure safety, quality, and timeliness of project delivery.
- Reliably meets deadlines, quality targets, and cost goals throughout electrical installation phase of projects.
- Documents daily work on multiple software platforms, ensuring utilization of up-to-date installation plans and maintenance of +/- list for change order cost control.
- Leads quality control activities related to electrical installation, training TGW personnel and subcontractors as necessary.
- Completes all administrative duties associated with electrical installation, including, but not limited to, daily reports, timecard review, handover documentation, punch lists, inventory control.
- Oversees labor hours, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to ensure cost control
- Reinforces adherence to OSHA, TGW, and other applicable safety standards to prevent incidents onsite.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
|
Education:
|
State-issued electrician license (e.g. Journeyman Electrician License) or related technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
|
Experience:
|
Several years of electrical experience with industrial equipment installation and machine-build wiring.
|
Travel:
|
Up to 90% travel
|
Skills & Abilities
|
- Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, electrical schematics, submittals, and specifications.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams, including contractors, internal employees, and customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience in conveyor installation within material-handling environment preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk around industrial and/or warehouse environment for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices.
- Visual and auditory abilities to work safely with and around moving and/or motorized equipment, machinery, parts, and electricity that require safety protocols
- Ability to move and use muscles for extended periods of time without fatigue.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Ability to communicate regularly with others verbally and in writing.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region.
- Installation & E-Installation only: Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other heavy industrial equipment, with appropriate training and certification

Other Requirements
This position requires work at TGW customer sites. TGW’s customers may require background checks before accessing their sites. Refusal to participate in a customer-required background check may result in a customer barring access and a subsequent reduction in work.
