SUMMARY
|
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist leads TGW’s end-to-end recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent and fill openings across the North American business. This role serves as subject matter expert on all recruitment-related activities and works closely with Human Resources and senior leadership to enhance TGW’s recruitment process. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist develops and drives recruitment strategies, collaborates with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs, and ensures a positive candidate experience.
This position is located at TGW's Grand Rapids, Michigan headquarters. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is required to be in in the office an average of three (3) days per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- Manages full-cycle recruiting process and its components, including posting jobs, sourcing talent, screening applicants, coordinating virtual and in-person interviews, and compiling candidate feedback.
- Deploys candidate sourcing strategies through variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to increase number of qualified applicants.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand projected staffing needs and develop strategies to address needs, fill high-volume positions, and build talent pipeline.
- Analyzes existing recruitment processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop and execute strategies to address gaps in process.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with external recruitment agencies and academic institutions to maintain TGW brand awareness in the labor market.
- Tracks KPIs and evaluates recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness of existing processes and highlight areas of concern.
- Collaborates with Human Resources team to support HR and TA strategic projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
|
Education:
|
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
|
Experience:
|
Five (5) or more years of recruitment experience, preferably in material-handling, industrial, or manufacturing industry.

Skills & Abilities
|
- Extensive experience working with a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions at once.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude, with a willingness and ability to work independently.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 20 lbs on occasion.
- Ability to use office equipment, computers, and various electronic devices constantly throughout workday.
- Ability to move around office environment and reach with hands and arms regularly.
- Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
- Ability to focus and complete tasks throughout workday in office environment.
