Principal Duty
For the North American market, TGW is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern for the Integrated Systems Division, Sales. In this role you will work in our North American headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI and be responsible to help execute a marketing content plan through the creation and coordination of different visuals.
This position requires a junior or senior level student in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related degree. This is a part-time, up to twenty hours a week, school-year 2024 internship position with a compensation of $19/hour. The successful intern will be considered for full-time employment upon graduation.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create graphics and visuals for digital advertising, social media, email, website, whitepapers, print materials, and more
- Coordinate production of marketing content, including interacting with freelancers to review and finalize assets
- Assist with the development of customer presentation slides or related materials
- Ensure marketing content maintains a visual consistency and adheres to branding guidelines
- Support other marketing initiatives as requested
Requirements Profile
- Actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
- Understanding of Design Theory and an eye for detail
- Highly proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva
- Blender, Lightroom, Aftereffects, and/or Premiere experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Open to art direction guidance and able to freely accept feedback
