As an intern for the Community Department you will be challenged to think critically and creatively both individually and as part of the team. Over the course of this internship you will be presented with the opportunity to experience different areas in the Digital Marketing space that will help enrich your understanding of all the opportunities available in Social Media Marketing. This position will report into the Sr. Manager, Community. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the community team; content, influencer, community and live as well as cross functional partners within the Marketing department in the planning and execution of brand initiatives
  • Partner with content team to ideate, prep and shoot assets in line with marketing calendar
  • Support team in sourcing and permissioning UGC across multiple platforms for brand use
  • Support team in monitoring competitive landscape to remain current on emerging industry trends
  • Support team in responding to customer across multiple platforms including livestreams
  • Support team in creating reports and tracking links
  • Assist in copywriting
  • Partner with influencer specialists to source on brand influencers to join our ambassador program
  • Partner with influencer specialists to support sorority program ambassadors
  • Partner with community and brand team to launch any in person activations and/or mailers

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree and currently enrolled in university
  • Able to work 20- 29 hours per week in office
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and organizational skills
  • Must be easily adaptable to changing schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask while under pressure
  • Must have a demonstrated passion for fashion and understanding of trends and styling techniques
  • Great sense of humor and ability to maintain strong relationships with different personality types
  • Desire to be part of a close-knit team, learning from others and assisting anywhere needed

 

Physical/Environmental Demands and Overtime & Availability:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Adequate movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Team members are required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
