Job Summary:

The Director of Business Intelligence will be responsible for developing and overseeing Business
Intelligence Data Products, managing a team of analysts, data architect and business analyst,
ensuring that automated data & reporting solutions provide actionable insights. This role will
partner with VP of Data and Business Intelligence to lead and manage the data architecture, data
pipelines, data ingestion into Microsoft Azure and Databricks for reporting, and automation of
Power BI dashboards to support executive and operational decision-making.

Essential Job Functions:
• As a Business Intelligence Director, this role is responsible for leading a team of analysts
to produce data products that provide actionable data insights to drive key business
decisions.
• Develop and implement data-driven products to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Utilize business intelligence tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and
opportunities to support business.
• Provide technical guidance and standards, best practices for data and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop datadriven solutions. Communicate insights and recommendations to Business Stakeholders
in a clear and concise manner.
• Partner with VP Data and Business Intelligence to support the Data Quality and Data
Governance initiatives with industry standards, best practices.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across BI process & systems by working with IT and
Business, enforcing data quality, data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data engineering & business
intelligence tools and techniques.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment and
understanding of data, reporting needs and priorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights
are incorporated into business strategies.
• Oversee the delivery of Data and Business Intelligence Products.
 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, automation and
cloud driven solution like Azure, Databricks, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Snowflake, SSRS, SSIS,
AWS and GCP.
• Experience in Azure - Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps, Azure
AI/ML, Azure AD, Databricks and other Azure data services.
• Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD tools & process – Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Github
Actions, Gitlab CI/CD, networking, security and data security best practices.
• Hands-on experience in data integration and transformation using ETL tools like ADF,
Alteryx, SSIS and providing standards & best practices.
• Expertise in optimizing data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Expertise in Power Query, Power Automate, DAX queries, Row level security, Data
Modeling and Enterprise level reporting with PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik.
• Experience with Data Architecture and Data Analytics Infrastructure Management.
• Experience with Data Life Cycle Management at enterprise level implementing policies,
practices and procedures.
• Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working across IT and business teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey technical
concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
