**This position is located out of our Tri Cities Home Lending Office and is a full-time in office position.**

POSITION SUMMARY:   

Provides administrative and customer service support to the mortgage loan officer in a high-production environment.  Performs clerical duties, including verifying, compiling and completing mortgage loan application information and database management.     

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Provides clerical support to assist the loan officer in meeting sales goals.

  • Processes mortgage loan documentation.

  • Inputs loan application data into the Loan Operating System.

  • Manages pipeline and closed loan reports to ensure efficient file flow and processing.

  • Prices and locks loans per loan officer requests.

  • Pulls credit reports and pre-qualifies clients per loan officer requests.

  • Scans client documentation into processing software.

  • Maintains and updates client databases.

  • Stays current on loan programs, processes, and procedures related to mortgage originations.

  • Performs clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, collating, and scanning.

  • Maintains marketing materials for loan officers including client newsletters/flyers.

  • Facilitates and maintains communication between loan officers, clients, real estate agents, branch staff, insurance agents, closing agents, and outside vendors.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • One-two years of previous mortgage banking experience preferred.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness.

  • Knowledge of mortgage banking procedures including an understanding of loan processing.

  • Computer skills in MS Office Suite, spreadsheets, and database lending software.

  • Must be able to handle pressure situations and meet deadlines.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and have the ability to learn other programs.
