POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the consumer loan collections team and all activities required to support the Bank’s goals for loan control.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual who shares our vision to “WOW” both internal and external customers with exceptional customer service; comes to work every day with a “Smart, Driven, and Nice” attitude; approaches each task with a strong attention to detail; and works together with other team members to ensure all Loan Servicing responsibilities are completed daily.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Hire, train, and mentor staff to ensure all teammates have the knowledge and tools required to be successful.

  • Establish and monitor team policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.

  • Responsible for maintaining loan delinquency, charge off and charge off recoveries within established limits.

  • Ensure collections practices are within policy and in keeping with company core values.

  • Work closely with Loan Servicing on customer support and escalation issues.

  • Manage collections related projects and system upgrades as needed.

  • Participates in development of team’s budget and adherence to that budget.

  • Create and distribute monthly collections and charge off reports.

  • Recommends technology, training, and system solutions to Loan Servicing Manager to improve team knowledge and efficiency.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Two years in management and collections or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position.

  • Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures, and related programs.

  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, DNA and Akcelerant experience is a plus.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and have the ability to learn other programs.
