SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Student Services and Administration is responsible for all duties associated with supporting students. They serve as the liaison between students and the administrative offices on Orlando and the main campus. The Orlando Campus Coordinator is responsible for delivering administrative and operational support to faculty, staff, and adjuncts at the Orlando Campus. In addition, the coordinator provides a wide array of services that support the success of the students at the Orlando Campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs student services to help provide students with access to and information about all campus resources and services. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a liaison between students and administrative offices on Orlando and the main campus.
- Serve as a resource for students by explaining the financial aid process and assisting with general questions such as awarded amounts, required documents, and loans/grants/scholarships.
- Work with all students to complete the enrollment checklist.
- Works with the registrar’s office to confirm the list of graduates and work with students who need to be added to the list.
- Assist students with connecting them with Academic GPS and their liaisons for degree plan changes, including if a student requests add/drop courses.
- Provide students with student account information and instructions for obtaining transcripts.
- Email students when job opportunities are sent to PBA.
- Builds community relationships for Workship opportunities and maintain a running document with contact information.
- Communicates with students concerning Workship opportunities.
- Coordinates activities on campus to help develop students; canvas training, career-related events, etc.
- Primary contact for editing the catalog for the upcoming school year. Maintains knowledge of Orlando Campus degree programs.
- Serve as the Designated School Official (DSO) for the Office of International Student Services (ISS).
- Assists students with special accommodations requests and connects them with the OAARs Office. Provides paperwork/information as needed.
- Manages test proctoring for PBA Orlando students. Assist with coordinating computer lab for student testing
- Coordinate with the bookstore for renting through Sailfish services and book returns at the beginning and end of each semester.
Performs campus duties to support operational activities, special events, and community outreach. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greets guests and provides information to all prospective students who inquire about the Orlando Campus.
- Helps coordinate and manage various on-campus events by communicating with attendees, ordering food, and assisting with setup and cleanup.
- Contact and work with outside vendors as required.
- Assists with organizing chapel activities and campus events: New Student Orientation, nursing commitment and pinning ceremonies, Counseling hooding ceremonies, welcome week, building community events, etc.
- Communicates with graduates concerning commencement activities and hooding activities. Including ordering regalia information, and Grad checkout.
Provides administrative support the director, faculty, and staff members
- Answers phone calls and provides information to callers.
- Records minutes for staff meetings.
- Assists with creating and preparing communications, memos and forms.
- Supports and facilitates the completion of regular reports, producing information through data entry ensuring accuracy and organization of data.
- Develops and maintains filing systems.
