Job Summary: The Golf Course Lead Mechanic will work closely with the head equipment manager to ensure all golf course maintenance equipment is in optimal working condition. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of the golf courses. This role requires an efficient shop mindset with a focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, patience, and a passion for innovative problem solving.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all golf course equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintence on machinery.
- Trouble shoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and maintenance repairs.
- Maintain a professional attitude and calm demeanor at all times.
- Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
- Train and supervise maintenance staff on proper equipment use and care.
- Ensure compliance tiwh safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to meet course quality standards.
- Communicate and relay direction to grounds maintenance team in a clear, concise and respectful manner.
- Assist in equipment budget planning and cost control measures.
- Other duties as assigned.
