Education requirements:        Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related degree or foreign degree equivalent

Experience requirements:Â Â Â Â 3 years of related work experience in environmental engineering in any occupation where the required experience is gained

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 2-3 days per week.
Â
Work experience must include:
- Working with state and federal environmental cleanup regulations (e.g., Texas Risk Reduction Program [TRRP], Resource Conservation and Recovery Act [RCRA], and Clean Air Act [CAA]).
- Air permitting for Title V facilities. Prepare Annual Emission Inventory and Greenhouse Gas Report.
- Vapor intrusion mitigation system design, monitoring and maintenance.
- Environmental site investigation and remediation, including multimedia (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water) sampling, and working with different types of drilling rigs (Geoprobe, Sonic, Hollow Stem Auger, and Air Rotary etc.).
- Environmental data analysis and programming. Human health risk analysis.
- Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
- Project management

License/Certification Requirements:

- PE license or eligibility for PE.
- 40 hour HAZWOPER course completion certification

Travel requirements: Limited national travel (<15%) is anticipated. International travel is not anticipated.
