Minimum Qualifications:
• All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the schools mission, values, and philosophy, especially related to diversity, equity, and inclusion; environmental sustainability, and global perspective.
- A commitment to a learning and working culture where all community members feel seen, valued, and heard.
• Clear, proficient communication and attention to detail in communication
• Computer proficiency – especially excel and database skills, ability to learn new programs quickly
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain by first day of Camp, opportunity for training during camp orientation
• Available May 1 through August 12. Part time (20-30 flexible hours per week) from start until May 26. Full time (40 hours a week, generally 8:00-4:30) May 30-Aug 12.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Fluency in Second language, especially Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish, or Russian
• Previous experience with NWS camps as student, camper and/or Campbassador
Compensation:
Salary is highly competitive with top independent schools in the region and commensurate with education and experience and includes all professional responsibilities of a teacher, both in the classroom and community contributions. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24 - $26 per hour, based on skills and qualifications.
