Job Description:

NuFlo manufactures HDPE drainage pipe and is in search of a Production Operator to operate and oversee the production line to ensure it runs safely and smoothly to meet all HDPE pipe standards. This is a 2nd shift position from 7 pm - 7 am ET.
Duties:
- Quality Checks on the pipe
- Keep resin going into the blending system
- Running the Cut off machine and placing the proper seal on the pipe
- Fork truck work and moving production to the storage yard
- Always keeping the building floor as clean as possible
- Change overs, changing out the die heads and mold blocks
- Preventative maintenance when needed
- Troubleshooting when the equipment isn’t running properly
- Keeping up with resin inventory
- Logging production in a data base
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Great work ethic with keen attention to detail
- Ability to meet production goals
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Must be able to bend, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Team player, working closely with management and coworkers
- Excellent skills in communication, motivation, and self-evaluation
- Basic computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, etc.)
- Problem solving abilities with organizational and presentational skills
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Manual dexterity is to operate a variety of machinery and equipment
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the area
