What are the duties and responsibilities?
- Implement lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the absent teacher.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Deliver lessons in accordance with the established curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
- Encourage a positive and respectful atmosphere for effective learning.
- Supervise students during class time, transitions, and other school-related activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Communicate effectively with students, school staff, and administrators.
- Provide feedback on the day's activities and report any issues or concerns to the regular teacher or school administration.
Follow Policies and Procedures:
- Adhere to school and district policies and procedures.
- Implement emergency procedures when necessary.
- Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Uphold high standards of behavior and ethics.
- Be flexible and adaptable to different grade levels, subjects, and school environments.
- Follow the guidance provided by the regular teacher and school administrators.
- Utilize classroom materials and technology as specified in lesson plans.
- Leave the classroom in an organized state for the returning teacher.
