We are a trusted organization that serves nearly 30,000 youth and adults from yearly from more than 50 school districts and nearly 70 private schools and community organizations across 19 Pennsylvania counties. Our mission is to engage all children in the support they need to succeed.

We are looking for a full-time Onboarding Specialist who will work in a positive, mission-driven environment. The Onboarding Specialist will work collaboratively with program managers to facilitate a smooth, welcoming onboarding experience for new hires. The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for onboarding for early learning positions, managing clearance and certification renewals and inspections, assisting with employee relations and benefits initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of onboarding for certain positions
  • Manage clearance and certification renewals and inspections
  • Assist with compensation and benefits initiatives
  • Assist with Employee Relations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Review and approve performance reviews

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma plus recruiting experience; or
  • Associate Degree in Business or related field; or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; and
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, database management.
