The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products. 

 

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Resin Mixer Trainee who mixes various types of resin solutions to support production.

 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor they will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Measures and weighs ingredients per GPS-RM.
  • Operates scale and computer to enter resin mix information.
  • Documents all data per GPS and GPS-RM requirements.
  • Operates machinery to mix resin and cast film adhesives.
  • Eventually will operate a forklift.
  • Controls resin inventory.
  • Other essential duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency
  • Valid California Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Computer experience.
  • Experience in chemical processing environment.
  • Acceptable Spirometry Test results (full/ half respirator use).
  • Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be available any shift, over-time and weekends.
