Job Summary: Practices autonomously and in accordance with the professional nursing standards, within the parameters of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and within the policies and procedures of Anderson Hospital. Provides care to patients receiving endoscopy procedures. Is responsible for the interviewing, assessment, and screening of endoscopy patients. Provides guidance and direction to the Endoscopy Technician. Takes call for unscheduled endoscopy procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

- Independently follows up on appropriate needs for patients.
- Is responsible for taking Endoscopy call and maintains technical skills relating to scopes/processors/Medivators (as applicable to hiring agreement).
