Job Purpose/Objectives
The Precut Machine loader plays a critical role in the distribution of raw products.
Inbound Product. The Pre-Cut Machine Loader manages the distribution of raw products in the decanting area into each production line.
The Machine Loader dumps cases or bins of unprocessed products into each line hopper to ensure continuous flow of product to employees and machines in the production room, and helps organize used boxes, crates and bins after use.Â
Additional responsibility also includes counting, scanning and documenting the product quantity and lot used per line, with any inventory anomalies. The Machine Loader will also be responsible for communicating any changes in the orders they fill with the Shift Supervisor. They will also be responsible for checking the quality of raw products they are putting onto the production lines. The Pre-Cut Machine Loader is responsible for standard food service work including proper sanitation duties and product distribution protocols within the Pre-Cut Department.Â

Essential Job Functions:Â Â Â Â
- Receive lists from the supervisors of products required in the room throughout the shift. Load the product into the correct line hopper or belt.Â
- Ensure production is not interrupted for a lack of product to process by attention to supervisors, product flow, and production employee’s supply of product. Document and return any unused product to the Expo for return to inbound slot location.
- Maintain organization and documentation of production department decant area, maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Give feedback to the supervisor about the pace and estimated time the production crew should finish their assignments. Identify employees not working at their full potential and alert supervisors.         Â
- Give constructive criticism and feedback to managers about improvements in procedures. Check the quality of product and alert supervisors if quality problems exist           Â
- Organize products for each line so maximize production time is maintained.

Degree of physical demands usually associated with this position are:
•            Requires repeated stooping and bending.Â
•            Frequent lifting and carrying boxed/bagged fruits and vegetables.
•            Requires continuous standing for extended periods of time.
•            Requires lifting up to 60 lbs. continuously throughout the shift
Environmental conditions (physical surroundings and hazards) usually associated with this position are:
• Working in a 38-degree (F) processing area for 8-10 hours daily
• Working in a damp environment 8-10 hours daily.
