Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like R365, Aloha, Toast
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills, accounting
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Able to work flexible hours necessary including off hours, weekends and holidays in a 24-hour location
- Must possess effective communication skills for dealing with diverse staff
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. In some instances, the entire shift
- Intermittent periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Able to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds and if more must be with assistance
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
- Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
- Regularly required to handle hot food and beverages.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Hospitality Manager or in a similar role
- 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience required
