Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.50 DOE
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30Â PM
Qualifications: Requires a minimum 1-year commercial driving experience in 26’ Box Truck
Our Delivery Drivers operate a 26' commercial, liftgate box truck to perform pick-ups, deliveries and recoveries of freight in a time-sensitive and professional manner.
Our Box Truck Drivers maintain accurate, up-to-date records such as Vehicle Inspection Reports, daily manifests, and incident reports. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading freight and for reporting accurate dimensions and weight of freight.
California Sierra Express has been serving the air freight logistics industry for over 35 years. We operate five freight terminals in CA and one in Reno, NV. We're an overnight carrier serving international and domestic freight forwarders as a final mile Pick-Up and Delivery agent for shipments that travel around the globe.
You'll be joining a local team of over 30 people all committed to providing the best service possible to our customers who trust Cal Sierra to move their shipments on-time throughout the greater LA Metro Area.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Consistent attendance Mon - Fri is mandatory. Additional weekend work is available, if desired.
- Complete assigned route in a timely manner. Route size can vary day to day and may require 8-10 hours to complete.
- Practice defensive driving principles and follow all company safety policies.
- Comply with all laws and regulations relating to driving, transporting and handling of freight including those issued by but limited to The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Comply with truck and cargo security requirements as outlined by the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA).
- Comply with safe work practices as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA)
- Comply with federal drug and alcohol regulations.
