Reinhardt University is seeking an Adjunct Nursing Instructor to join the Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Adjunct Nursing Instructors teach in clinical settings as well as in the Skills, Health Assessment, and Simulation labs on campus as assigned. They work under the supervision of the course coordinator (faculty) and report to the Dean of the Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Adjunct Nursing Instructors provide hands-on instruction and observe students’ performance of nursing skills. Course faculty rely on these observations for formal evaluation of students’ performance and readiness to progress within the program.
Adjunct Nursing Instructors are paid $38/hour, including time spent completing required orientation activities and clinical credentialing. They are not paid for travel expenses.
Required Qualifications:
- Unencumbered Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in the relevant nursing specialty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Previous experience teaching in pre-licensure RN program
