Quality Intern

Penn United Technologies. is now accepting applications for a seasonal Intern to work in our Quality department.    We are looking for a college student, preferably majoring in Metrology or related degree who is looking to enhance their classroom learning through this hands-on internship experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians with dimensional inspections for product that has been validated
• Documentational and dimensional data entry  
• Work daily to assist members of the Quality team  
• Perform order entry of test results and other clerical responsibilities
• Report to work on-time with a positive attitude and ready to learn and accomplish tasks
• Have a true desire and a focus toward your job
• Ask relevant questions and ask for help with processes or tasks not understood
• Implement and follow all safety and quality plans in accordance with company programs and policies.

Qualifications:  

• Must be currently enrolled in college, preferably in Metrology or related major
• Experience with precision measurement tools preferred
• Must be in good academic standing at their school 
• Must possess strong attention to detail
• Shift: This is a seasonal, daylight position, with the ability to flex around college class schedule
