The Senior Director of Finance will lead and oversee all financial activities, financial planning and analysis, controllership, accounting, plant costing, IT, and more for a multi-plant manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic direction, and extensive experience in financial management, particularly within the manufacturing environment. The Senior Director will shape financial strategies, ensure compliance, drive business growth, and foster partnerships across departments to enhance financial insights and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
· Direct the financial reporting function to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
· Lead monthly financial review meetings with ELT & GM’s at each location.
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning to provide clear financial direction.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for business improvement.
· Prepare monthly reporting package, including detailed variance analysis to prior year and budget and provide insights into key business drivers.
· Provide BASCO load files to LIXIL Americas Controller’s department for BPC consolidation.
· Ensure accuracy in forecasting and improve financial processes.
· Prepare business cases, financial insights and ROI analysis for significant projects.
Plant Costing and Controller Function
· Oversee plant costing operations for accurate costing and inventory valuations.
· Implement cost control procedures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Manage the controller function to ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.
· Collaborate with plant management to support financial decision-making.
Accounting & Compliance
· Ensure accuracy in accounting processes such as general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
· Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate internal and external audits.
· Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to optimize liquidity.
· Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of AP and AR operations.
· Monitor credits issued for reasonableness & potential business issues
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead, direct, train, and evaluate accounting and finance personnel.
· Promote a transparent and ethical culture.
· Develop strong internal relationships and influence decision-making.
Strategic and Operational Contributions
· Work on strategic planning and provide tactical action plans.
· Prepare business cases and financial insights for significant projects.
· Ensure accuracy in forecasting and improve financial processes.
· Coordinate responses/approve decisions for business insurance claims

Special Projects & Business Initiatives
· Conduct feasibility and profitability analyses for special projects.
· Manage and report on CAPEX projects and innovation tracking.
