Purpose:

The City Impact Ministry Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of City Impact, ensuring efficient processes, smooth departmental functioning, and alignment with the mission. This role manages city teams, optimizes workflows, maintains quality standards, and develops strategies to enhance operational performance. It requires collaboration with pastors, department heads, city shepherds, and volunteers to execute ministry plans effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee City Impact’s daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and city teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve department workflows and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage city team members while monitoring budgets and analyzing data for performance improvement.
  • Work closely with the City Impact pastor, city shepherds, and department heads to align city and ministry plans.
  • Commit to regular prayer for and with city team members including offering devotions and prayer at city team meetings.
  • Assist in recruiting, coaching, and praying with welcome hosts, ensuring engagement with new members and organizing welcome events.
  • Provide administrative and recruitment support for Community Groups
  • Handle city team requests, ensuring proper routing and timely follow-up.
  • Help city shepherds and City Impact teams address challenges and remove roadblocks that hinder gospel ministry success.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clear, documented, and followed processes.
  • Regularly attend, participate, and serve at meetings and sponsored events in our cities
  • Manage expense receipts and disbursement processes for City Impact and city teams.
  • Work with IT and leadership to develop measurement systems for spiritual multiplication and kingdom flourishing.
  • Lead process improvement meetings related to Communications and IT Infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain the annual budget for City Impact, advising on budget discrepancies as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with department heads, staff, lay leaders, and ministry associates.
  • Plan and execute departmental ministry events, including those related to volunteer engagement and community initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role is essential for ensuring City Impact’s mission thrives through strategic planning, process optimization, and effective team coordination.

Qualifications

  • Organized administratively with strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to cultivate and manage healthy relationships and represent the best interests and concerns of staff and lay leaders.
  • Can balance high level vision with an attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good networker and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Perimeter Systems knowledge a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in ministry or business preferred
  • Be a member of Perimeter Church
  • Experience in Community Development, Non-Profits, and Organizational Change a plus
  • Proven record of relationship development skills, showing an ability to work with volunteers, staff, and community leaders
  • Attend staff prayer and staff development days
  • Learns processes and support systems quickly and can communicate the “why” of these from a user and development capability
