HR Training Intern/Learning and Development

  • The HR Training Intern will support Community Housing Innovations (CHI) projects within our department through data gathering and analysis and/or providing administrative support.
  • Support and organize training functions, learning sessions, and meetings while developing skills and knowledge in the field.
  • Work with the Training Director and Training Specialist to contribute ideas, offer insights, and collaborate on tasks or projects.
  • Complete tasks and meet deadlines based on responsibilities.
  • Possess efficient problem-solving skills along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Has the ability to prepare reports, presentations, or documentation based on their assigned projects or tasks.
  • Networking: Engage with professionals within the company, attending networking events, and building connections for future career opportunities.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Nice to have.

  • Strong interest in human resources, learning and development, talent management, or related fields.
  • Computer software knowledge Microsoft Tools (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (ability to use basic formulas & functions, cell referencing, data sorting & filtering, charts & graphs, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, importing & exporting data, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems a plus
  • Knowledge in video editing a plus
