SNAP is seeking a qualified individual for a Report and Outcomes Management Coordinator to join our team.

Starting salary for this position is $28.63-$32.10 per hour DOE

Full salary range is $28.63-$45.35 per hour

Position Summary:  This position is responsible for:

  1. Ensuring that agency reports are generated in a timely and efficient manner to maintain agency compliance with funding sources, board of directors, and monitors by protecting data integrity.
  2. Conducting research, and collecting and analyzing outcome data which will help in continual program and agency improvement.
  3. Ensuring adequate and appropriate ongoing training for SNAP staff and management on the use of our computer system hardware and software, on the correct recording of relevant program information into the database(s), and on how to generate needed reports so that program effectiveness and efficiency can be evaluated and how to protect data integrity and security.
  4. Promoting with staff the importance of data integrity, outcomes, and results as the foundation for the story of SNAP’s mission and service delivery to clients and the community.  Maintain certification as a Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) Certified Professional.  Serve as chair of the Outcomes Committee to enhance these efforts. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:  

  1. Work to create an agency culture and understanding of the role that outcome data can play in the continuous improvement of services to clients.
  2. Conduct research and collect data to support and ensure that both new and continuing programs/services of SNAP effectively target and impact and community needs. Plan and design surveys, and determine appropriate survey methods.
  3. Work with program staff to onboard new programs and to identify outcome measures for all programs and services, and ensure that our database tracking systems are set up to record data points and report the needed information.  Collect user requirements for enhancements to the system by facilitating appropriate internal discussions.
  4. Manage Salesforce dashboards, forms, templates, page layouts, workflows, and approvals.
  5. Review Salesforce data system to ensure high-quality data collection, accuracy, data integrity, and completeness of staff input relative to client services.
  6. Ensure the creation and generation of program reports and statistical summaries as needed or required to reflect accurate outcomes and outputs of our services to clients and the community.  Responsible for ensuring assigned statistical reports are completed and submitted to funding sources within prescribed time frames.
  7. Analyze information using various statistical methods to detect patterns and trends in data, compare to benchmarks and report collected information out to the agency.
  8. Conceptualization of data and sharing this knowledge through effective presentation of data output to the MIS team, Executive team, Board of Directors, or community partners through the use of Salesforce, Nintex, and reporting software such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, and Microsoft BI, and other reporting software.   
  9. Analyze spatial and geographic data utilizing ESRI GIS and other geolocation software.
  10. Train program staff to be able to generate their own needed/wanted reports from Salesforce, Crystal Reports, or other report-writing software.
  11. Oversee the creation and maintenance of end-user documentation including internal processes.
  12. Provide support for Salesforce SOQL programming.
  13. Work with management staff to identify reporting needs, computer system priorities, policies, and procedures.
  14. Coordinate and assist software development with data system programmers. 
  15. Lead effort to ensure all staff receives adequate and appropriate training to effectively utilize our technology and data information system(s).  Work with end users to provide coaching around best practices and tips on Salesforce usage.
  16. Advocate for consistent adoption of Salesforce across the organization
  17. Work with coworkers and volunteers to promote a positive, respectful, and productive working environment, while protecting client confidentiality and dignity
  18. Within the context of the stated principle job duties, serve as an ambassador of SNAP’s mission and values
  19. Complete assigned projects and perform related duties as needed or situation dictates
  20. Provide excellent customer service at all times as well as help to grow the customer service culture within the agency.

Qualifications

Requirements:

                Education and Experience

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Computer Science, or Statistics and 1-year experience in database management and program/product evaluation OR combination of education/experience in the fields above totaling 5 years.
  • Preferred:  Experience working in a social service setting is strongly preferred.  Bachelor's degree and three years experience in Sociology, Social Work, Computer Science or Statistics and program reporting/evaluation in a social service setting or some combination of education/experience totaling 8 years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to teach adult learners and provide training to individuals or groups as requested.
  • Ability to present to large, diverse groups.
  • Ability to help craft outcome measurements for agency and programmatic performance.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, Crystal report writing, ESRI GIS software, database management, SQL scripting, SOQL scripting, Visual Basic and other programming languages.
  • Ability to conceptualize solutions to complex problems in outcome measurement and accountability.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to help move the agency towards valuing and understanding the role that outcome and data analysis can have in creating improved services.
  • Ability to work with others to communicate information and methodologies regarding use of computer software for data tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to follow agency policy regarding confidentially and security issues
  • Skills in oral and written communication.

Training and Certifications

  • Driver's license, insurance, and good driving record.  Mileage reimbursement for business-related local travel
  • On-going training is encouraged, with an emphasis on regulations, evaluation practices, and developments surrounding technology advances.

 

 

Work Environment/Physical Activities:

Work is generally sedentary, performed in an office environment.  Some local travel will be required to attend meetings or site visits at other locations.  May deal with difficult personalities and stressful situations.  Domestic travel may be required to participate in training, seminars, or other activities as assigned.
