JOB DUTIES:
Provide general dentistry services to patients, including the following:
- Meet with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns
- Perform regular dental cleanings and other preventative dental procedures
- Establish a plan for better dental hygiene
- Perform simple and complex dental procedures, such as filling cavities, root canals, extractions, and oral surgery
- Prescribe medications for dental dental problems
- Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays and models
- Use tools such as drills, probes brushes, or mirrors to examine and treat patients’ teeth and mouths
- Work with other staff members such as dental hygienists and assistants to provide patients with quality dental services
- Assist in the management of the practice
