Position: Adult Day Services Program Coordinator
Summary: The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the effective supervision and operation of all Adult Day Service Programs at Block Institute. This position is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, providing quality services to individuals in the program, and providing guidance and support to Program Supervisors and group room staff. The Program Coordinator will step in and perform supervisory tasks in the absence of a Program Supervisor, ensuring continuity of operations and exceptional care.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating possible courses of conduct, impacting business operations or finances.
- Influence hiring, transfer, promotion, and disciplinary actions, ensuring best practices and open communication.
- Ensure implementation of appropriate active treatment activities across program sites.
- Conduct initial and continued training and supervision for supervisory, direct support, and clinical team members.
- Attend and facilitate case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings regularly.
- Conduct routine program reviews to maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
- Maintain certification in SCIP, CPR, First Aid/OSHA, and other mandated trainings.
- Oversee monitoring systems and develop new procedures to handle incidents, staff schedules, finances, and medication concerns.
- Provide coverage and supervision to staff during programming hours as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of all Adult Day Service programs.
- Attend mandatory inservice training and comply with all regulations and policies.
- Master the use of software systems and technology utilized by the Agency.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise Program Supervisors, Group Leaders, and Assistant Group Leaders as assigned to Adult Day Services program sites.
