Responsibilities: As a Grain Originator your role will be to work daily to increase grain net margins and volume by building relationships with local producers, as well as calling on new accounts. This person will be expected to provide excellent customer service and work well with patrons in a courteous and professional manner. All duties should be completed in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications
- A degree in agriculture or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of grain handling/marketing
- Knowledge of basis merchandising and how it relates to the mechanics of individual contracts and grain strategies
- An understanding of grain accounting, procedure, and reports
- Skillful in negotiating acceptable and equitable grain purchases with producers and sales to local buyers
- Mechanical ability (helpful)
