Clayton Youth Enrichment is Tarrant Countys largest, on-site, youth enrichment provider. The non-profit agency serves 7,000+ children and families annually through its after school and other out-of-school time enrichment programs.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary role of the Community Programs Coordinator is to assist the Community Programs Manager in serving youth and families in our targeted communities. The role will assist in booking, scheduling, attendance tracking, monitoring and day of event logistics for center use. The Coordinator will also supervise a afterschool middle school program.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
- Serve as the onsite monitor for community center visitors and events.
- Assist in booking and scheduling the building.
- Report and track maintenance issues and order facility supplies and equipment.
- Manage middle school student program each afternoon from 3-6 including programming and supervision of students 8-13.
- Manage building access and supervision to owned or leased facilities as well as assisting with registration, scheduling, attendance tracking and billing.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of community events and celebrations such as National Night Outs, Trunk or Treats, Cultural Fairs, Back To School Drives, Holiday Celebrations etc.
- Assist with deploying surveys for the purpose of data collection to CCPD goals.
- Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must be Fluent in Spanish and English
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- GED or high school diploma required and some college preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service or event management experience
- Experience working with youth ages 8-13 in an afterschool setting.
- Strong understanding of community building, equity and inclusion and social and emotional health/learning.
