SUMMARY
This position is responsible for good installation and maintenance outcomes for the installers and end-users of the company’s products. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of best installation and maintenance practices, tooling, and methods. While neither installation nor maintenance services are provided directly, this position is ultimately responsible for communicating those practices to installers and maintainers and assuring conformance to the practices to the greatest degree possible.
The VP Field Service is responsible for leading the Field Service Team world-wide and managing creation, maintenance, and fulfillment of the company’s installation support services.
The role critically interacts with end users and installers to resolve installation issues if and when they arise.
A member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position participates in the strategic and tactical direction of the company, and works closely with Business Development, Engineering, and Applications Engineering functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Field Service Team and its deployment of installation support services
- Manage existing and negotiate new relationships with third-party support services providers
- Develop and manage an installation support strategy
- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers
- Establish services pricing by region
- Track and report field service support costs
- Maintain and develop a computerized customer installation database (CRM)
- Occasional travel including international
