Qualifications

Position: On Premise Sales Force - On Premise Sales Rep

Spec's is in search of a Full-Time professional to showcase our merchandise and services to the wholesale businesses in the area. This position does not work your typical 9 to 5 business hours and does work holidays and weekends as needed.

Performs functions to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of the existing sales accounts with an assigned territory by performing the following duties.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience as well as knowledge in liquor, spirits and restaurant and bar supply. You must be outgoing, business oriented, professional and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Performs functions to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of the existing sales accounts with an assigned territory by performing the following duties.

Pay - Commission Based with a Salary of $24,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Present, promote and sell products/services professionally and effectively to existing and prospective customers

Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

  • Performs functions in accounts that would include new product distribution, back-bar placement, wells, menus and promotions.
  • Under general direction, solicits business by personally visiting clients, attempting to interest prospective buyers and explaining the merit of product and its application.
  • Familiarizes established accounts with new products and developments.
  • Investigates and resolves customer complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Keeps information on competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies.
  • Informs company of competitive activity and conditions that would affect company interests.
  • Prepares price quotations, delivery dates and service obligations.
  • Prints Spirits/Wine list, table-tents and other lists as needed through print-tech support.
  • Performs all related duties to setting-up, attending, and regulating nighttime bar promotions.
  • Follows all company guidelines as set forth in orientation manual.
  • Complies with all beverage laws.
  • Greets all customers, is polite, friendly and unfailing uses: "Sir and Ma'am, Thank You and Please."
  • Attends all scheduled sales & training meetings.
  • Responsible for learning product knowledge from any and all avenues.
  • Attempts to up sell or add-on sell every customer by offering alternative or additional product.
  • Responsible for great relations with all customers.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a sales representative

Excellent knowledge of MS Office – EXCEL.

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

This position requires open availability, a valid TX Driver’s License and for you to be at least 21 yrs old and a have a valid TABC.
