HR Recruiting and Employee Experience Specialist
This role supports key stages of the employee lifecycle, with an emphasis on recruiting coordination, onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and compliance. The HR Specialist ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations and delivers a positive employee experience through accurate data management, timely communication, and process execution. Success in this role requires strong teamwork and partnership with HR colleagues, hiring managers, and employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting, Onboarding, Offboarding Support – 40%
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting logistics, including screening, scheduling, candidate communication, and applicant tracking.
- Work to develop pipeline, partnering with local organizations, educational
- Assist in preparing offer letters, initiating background checks, and ensuring all pre-employment steps are completed.
- Support the creation of compelling job postings that reflect the LBX employer brand and attract a diverse candidate pool.
- Facilitate onboarding documentation and lead orientation sessions to support a smooth new hire experience.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the ATS.
- Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews, final paperwork, and system updates to ensure a smooth transition and compliance with company policy.
Employee Engagement – 20%
- Support the design and implementation of engagement initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Collaborate on and support employee recognition programs, appreciation events, and milestone celebrations.
- Assist in developing and executing surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms to measure employee satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with internal committees or cross-functional teams on wellness, community involvement, and team-building activities.
- Contribute to internal communications (newsletters, announcements, intranet updates) that promote transparency and strengthen employee connection to company values.
- Track participation and feedback data to assess engagement program effectiveness and make data-informed recommendations.
Employee Data & HRIS Management – 25%
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
- Generate and distribute standard HR reports and dashboards as needed.
- Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure seamless data flow timely updates, and accuracy in employee status changes.
- Assist in system audits and data integrity checks to support compliance and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Documentation – 10%
- Maintain up-to-date employment documentation, including I-9s, job descriptions, and compliance logs.
- Support internal audits, EEO reporting, and policy administration.
- Ensure HR processes adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company standards.
General HR Support – 5%
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes, status changes, and systems.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
