Conflict Legal Assistant- Estates & Trusts

Stein Sperling is seeking a full-time Conflicts Legal Assistant to support our Estate Planning department. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment. In addition to managing conflict checks, matter intake, and engagement documentation, the Conflicts Legal Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to attorneys. This includes coordinating meetings and client signings, communicating directly with clients, managing digital and physical files, drafting and finalizing estate planning documents, performing notary duties, assisting with probate and trust administration tasks, and helping plan department events. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a law firm or professional services environment. 

  • Familiarity with conflict check systems (3E preferred) and legal intake processes. 

  • Experience with document management systems such as iManage preferred. 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
