Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently, be detail oriented, organized and work under pressure.
- Must understand the importance and be able to meet deadlines.
- An understanding of scheduling, including the ability to do what is necessary to modify schedules to ensure that there are few lapses in the staff’s schedule.
- Use initiative and independent judgement in performance and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Assist with cleaning of the office and the ability to work with maintenance staff for major clean-ups and/or repairs.
- Average knowledge of Microsoft Office software and various other software products that will enhance the ability to do their job.
- Communicate with dental insurance plans to determine the benefits and payment processing for patients. This may include determining and collecting co-payments.
- Ability to perform all basic office duties.
Education, Licenses, Certification and Experience
High School Diploma / GED
A valid Washington State driver's license is required and must be eligible for the Colville Tribes vehicle insurance and maintained throughout employment.
Basic Life Support, HIPAA and Privacy Act training certification is required within 90 days of hire.
A background check will be required with clearance maintained throughout employment.
Tribal member and Indian and veteran preference will apply.
Working Conditions
LRCHC has ADA compliant facilities. The position requires the ability to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time. May require lifting of 15 – 50 lbs. Ability to read words and numbers and do basic math.
