The Summer School Teacher reports to the Director of Community Schools.

Timeline: Â July 7, 2025 - July 31st, 2025
Staff Training: July 2nd, 2025
Time: 7:45 am - 1:45 pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Salary: $40/hr
Interview Process
Candidates who meet the position requirements will be invited to participate in a 15-minute phone screen. Candidates who successfully pass the phone screen will be invited to an in-person interview on May 17th, 2025, scheduled between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
The in-person interview will last 30 minutes and will include the opportunity to:
- Meet with the Director of the Program
- Discuss role expectations
- Demonstrate your teaching skills in front of program leaders
Your specific 30-minute time slot will be confirmed one week prior to the interview day.

- Consistently reports to work on time and prepared to perform duties of the position.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate as a high-functioning, school-based team member.
- Ability to make significant contributions to an effective school/community partnership.
- Analyzing student assessment data and assisting with the development of curriculum.
- Implement a curriculum aligned with the CORE STANDARDS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
- Utilize data from CCSP’s student assessments to drive instruction and intervention.
- Assist with the development of lesson plans.
- Deliver academic lesson plans as intended to identified students.Â
- Lead in classroom management while implementing activities.
- Support program administrative requirements, including student attendance, surveys, forms, and lesson plans.Â
- Attend all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings.
- Support all special education-related services during the program, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- NJDOE Standard Teaching Certificate
