Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY: The Communications Creative Director, under general supervision of the Communications and Marketing Director, is responsible for shaping Chase Oaks’ creative identity and visual execution through graphic design and video. Duties include leading a team of creative professionals to execute quality deliverables that communicate Chase Oaks’ tone, values, and brand in alignment with overall Endear strategy and Communication Team goals.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Support Communications and Marketing Director in achieving Communications Team goals in alignment with Endear vision.
  • Work closely with Communication and Marketing Director to identify priorities, opportunities, and key communications projects.
  • Develop brand guidelines and guide evolution of Chase Oaks brand to stay relevant and impactful, in alignment with overall Endear team goals.
  • Oversee Communications Creative Team including video, motion graphics, and graphic design to form a cohesive look and feel in alignment with Endear Team goals.
  • Guide Communications Creative Team to develop cohesive creative execution while fostering creativity.
  • Oversee and plan the development of creative content within the Chase Oaks brand.
  • Oversee creative vision and execute projects that may impact digital, web, marketing, sermon series, storytelling, physical space branding, and printed materials.
  • Provide excellent creative deliverables to meet Chase Oaks brand and team goals on time, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Work closely with Communications Team to stay aligned and informed across the team.
  • Collaborate and communicate across departments, translating creative ideas into clear and strategic language.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to bring fresh new ideas to inspire the Communications Creative Team.
  • Lead brainstorming and concepting sessions to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
  • Create content and assets alongside the team.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role.

 

EDUCATION DESIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Marketing, or related field.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is supervisory role 2-4 creative professionals.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to speak effectively and understandably on the phone. The ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries regarding Chase Oaks ministries is also required.  Ability of public speaking to larger groups in team/leadership settings.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools, like ClickUp or Asana.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in UX/UI design and digital strategy.
