About the Utah Olympic Park
Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility with Nordic ski jumps, sliding tracks, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. As a part of the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, our mission is to cultivate champions in sport and in life, deliver experiences that inspire communities, and celebrate our Olympic legacy for generations to come.
About the role
As a part of the UOP Patrol team you will be responsible for providing medical services for guests, athletes, and employees in a kind, caring, and professional manner.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Provide medical services according to the UOP Safety Patrol Manual and National Ski Patrol Outdoor Emergency Care Protocols or as prescribed by management.
- Interacts in a professional, responsible, and friendly manner with guest, athletes, coaches and the public on a daily basis.
- Winter Season duties include:

Medical First Responder for the U.S. National and Development Ski Teams (Ski Jumping, Cross Country, Nordic, Aerial, Mogul, Slope Style, Skier/Boarder Cross)

Medical First Responder for the U.S. National and Development Bobsled, Skeleton, and Luge Teams
-
Medical First Responder for World Cup, Olympic Trials, National and Regional Competitions (Ski Jumping, Cross Country, Nordic, Bobsled, Skeleton, Luge)

Medical First Responder for the U.S. National and Development Speed Skating Teams for World Cup, Olympic Trials, National, and Regional Competitions (Utah Olympic Oval)

High Angle Rescue and Training

Avalanche Control Work

Cross Country Ski Patrol and Trail Maintenance

Summer Season duties include:

Water Rescue and Training

Complete all required in-house training.
Candidate Knowledge and Essential Skills
Minimum Requirements

Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting.
