About the Utah Olympic Park
Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, the Utah Olympic Park is a dynamic multi-use facility with Nordic ski jumps, sliding tracks, a 2002 Winter Games museum, and a multitude of adventure activities. As a part of the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, our mission is to cultivate champions in sport and in life, deliver experiences that inspire communities, and celebrate our Olympic legacy for generations to come.
About the role
As a Mountain Adventures Lead II you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of all activities and ensuring staff are operating as outlined in the Local Operational Procedures. The Mountain Adventures Lead II must be able to open and close all activities and troubleshoot any complications. The Mountain Adventures Lead II must have leadership skills and be a positive role model, with the ability to direct, empower and discipline staff. Serving as a key member of the Mountain Adventures Department, the Mountain Adventures Lead II will work closely with other Mountain Adventures Supervisors and will report directly to the Mountain Adventures Management Team.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Communicate and coordinate with Guest Services, Corporate Sales, Lift Operations, Patrol and Public Programs regarding staffing activities and events.

Oversee and coordinate with Mountain Adventures Manager and supervisors regarding staffing included but not limited to:
- Staff assignments
- Employee accountability
- Disciplinary and positive actions
- Employee training

Utilize and maintain necessary paperwork and record keeping regarding:
- Employee event records
- Incident reports
- Lead reports
- Daily Inspections
- Training Reports

Fill in and work any activity and position within the department as needed, including lunch rotations.
