Position Summary

The Oil Services Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the management of a crew of two to three Field Technicians performing a variety of lube/oil flushing tasks such as rigging up/down the lube oil flushing equipment. During the industrial cleaning operation, the Lube/Oil Flushing Project Manager shall operate the specialized equipment such as pump control, flow meter, onboard heater, particulate analyzer, and other necessary equipment by strictly following the operating instructions, site safety plan and work procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of proprietary high pressure water nozzles and tools exclusively used.
  • Run Large Flushes, Filtration, ability to be night shift supervisor.
  • Supervisor Leadership Training for junior Technicians. 
  • Ensure that all Safety Council Cards and Driver's licenses are available and valid to enter the work sites.
  • Communicate professionally with the customer.
  • Following the instructions of the ADI start-up sheet.
  • Conduct Safety Meetings at work sites.
  • Barricade work site.
  • Ensure safe work performance strictly in accordance with OSHA, MSHA, customer site and safety regulations.
  • Ensure work quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with customers and Operations Managers.
  • Document work performance.
  • Motivate crew to be always positive and alert during high pressure water cleaning operation.
  • Educate and train Field Technicians mechanically and in safety.
  • Perform maintenance and repair of equipment at work site if needed.
  • Ensure that the crew is wearing properly the protective gear at all work times.
  • Truck driving and inspections.
  • Keep Truck Driver Log.
  • Needs to be on call 24/7 if needed while running a job.
  • Performs other duties to ensure successful services are delivered and customers are satisfied.
  • Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Position requires up to 80% travel.
  • Participate in team safety meetings and cross-functional planning sessions. 
  • Online/remote safety training as required. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma.
  • 5+ years in field service related to installation and service of rotating mechanical equipment.
  • 5+ years' experience in Industrial Oil Flushing.
  • Working in refinery/plant environment.
  • Listening and understanding instructions.
  • Acknowledgement and compliance of Safety plans/rules and their importance.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day).
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments.
  • Lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials up to 50 lbs. (occasionally heavier with assistance).
  • Working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, or working at heights as needed.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and heavy machinery safely.
  • Dexterity to perform fine motor tasks, such as wiring, assembling, or troubleshooting equipment.
  • Driving for extended periods to custom sites, sometimes in remote locations.
  • Working in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces, attics, or utility areas.
  • Be aware of and adhere to safety protocols.

 

Work Environment

The work environment involves remote or industrial locations, such as oil rigs, refineries, or industrial plants. Safety is Paramount. Employees may be exposed to loud noise, heavy machinery, and hazardous materials. Rotational schedules and extended shifts are common. Safety is a top priority, with rigorous training protocols and PPE including hard hats, gloves, and high-visibility clothing provided to mitigate risks. The role may involve working outdoors in varied weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold weather. Employees will spend time traveling between job sites.
