Description

Avivo’s Chemical and Mental Health Division provides a continuum of integrated services, including access, clinical treatment, care coordination as well as mental and chemical health recovery support. The Program Director for Targeted Case Management will support Managers leading three TCM teams, under the AMH-TCH contract. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall operation of Targeted Case Management services on the One TCM Team in the CCMH division, providing direct supervision to Program Managers which supervise the TCM Case Managers as well as both formal and informal supervision and coverage of TCM operations as needed.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Provide regular group supervision for management team- minimum 1 time per month. Regular individual supervision– minimum 1 time per month per supervisee. Supervision schedule must be approved by Service Area Director. Ensure consultation and supervision is available and provided on a regular basis.

  • Work with Service Area Director on the recruitment, hiring, retention and development of a diverse workforce, ensuring adherence with all applicable organizations and licensing policies and procedures.
  • Interview, hire and train direct staff, develop and evaluate staff based on documented needs and desired outcomes for programs/services.
  • Ensure each team member is appropriately trained through onboarding and ongoing training to effectively perform job scope and duties.
  • Ensure cross training of staff to ensure appropriate coverage

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health or similar field.
  • Management experience: Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, preferred within a behavioral health setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, including some experience providing Targeted Case Management services directly, or history of supervision of Targeted Case Management.
  • Experience with an electronic health record at administrative management level.
  • Experience with and/or commitment to working in a diverse continuum of services in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to developing and delivering culturally responsive, harm reduction and trauma informed services.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health preferred.
  • Licensure to include LICSW, LPCC, LMFT or Psy D. preferred.
  • Clinical supervision experience.
