POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Platform Engineering & Technology Operations to oversee our critical technology infrastructure. This leadership role will drive AI-powered automation, cutting-edge DevOps practices, and operational efficiencies, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability while optimizing costs and performance. The VP will shape the future of BillGO’s technology stack, leveraging AI/ML, automation, and platform engineering advancements to support rapid business growth and foster cross-functional collaboration.

This role will lead and manage teams responsible for:
- Enterprise Architecture – Driving long-term architectural vision and technology alignment with business needs.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management (CloudOps) – Optimizing cloud environments for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Security Operations (SecOps) – Safeguarding infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) – Improving system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Network Infrastructure Engineering – Designing and optimizing secure, scalable network infrastructure.
- Database Engineering – Ensuring database performance, security, and scalability.
- Command Center Operations – Ensuring 24/7 monitoring and real-time incident management.
- IT Operations – Managing enterprise IT services, IT Helpdesk, and internal systems.

AI/ML & Innovation:
- Lead AI-powered operational strategies, leveraging AI/ML and automation for efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Implement AIOps to automate monitoring, event correlation, and incident prevention.
- Apply AI/ML to cloud management, SRE, and security to drive intelligent scaling, cost optimization, and threat detection.
- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore emerging technologies.
Enterprise Architecture:
- Define and execute BillGO’s enterprise architecture strategy for long-term technology alignment.
- Design scalable, modular, and resilient architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Implement best practices for API management, microservices, containerization, and data integration.
Cloud Infrastructure Management (CloudOps):
- Oversee multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) for performance and cost efficiency.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, incorporating AI-powered cost management and disaster recovery strategies.
Security Operations (SecOps):
- Lead the security operations team to protect infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Implement AI-driven threat detection, vulnerability management, and automated incident response.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, PCI-DSS) and apply zero-trust security principles.
- Develop and enforce security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies.
Command Center Operations:
- Direct 24/7 command center operations for real-time infrastructure monitoring.
- Implement AI-driven alerts and automated response systems to improve incident detection and resolution.
- Streamline incident management to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity and timely communication to key stakeholders.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):
- Enhance the reliability, availability, and performance of services, defining SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
- Implement AI-driven monitoring, anomaly detection, and auto-remediation.
- Drive automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for operational efficiency.
IT Operations & Helpdesk Support:
- Manage IT helpdesk and support teams to ensure rapid issue resolution and high service levels.
- Implement AI-driven IT Service Management (ITSM) automation to enhance efficiency.
- Leverage Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to scale and optimize costs.
Network Engineering:
- Lead the design and optimization of secure, scalable network infrastructure.
- Oversee network security measures and AI-driven optimization to proactively resolve issues.
Database Engineering:
- Optimize database performance with machine learning-driven insights and advanced tuning techniques.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Drive automation in database management (backup, recovery, maintenance).

- Manage budgets for IT operations, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
- Recommend tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure IT operations meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to infrastructure, security, and data management.
