Role Overview:
BillGO is seeking a driven and technically driven Cloud Network & Security Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll assist in managing and securing our AWS cloud infrastructure while gaining hands-on experience with cloud network, and cloud security initiatives. You'll also have the opportunity to learn and work with Terraform to automate and scale our infrastructure. Prior experience in Python would be beneficial for automating processes. Knowledge of AI or machine learning is not required, though a general interest in these technologies is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills in cloud networking and cloud security while contributing to impactful projects.
As a Cloud Network & Security Intern, you'll assist in the development and maintenance of secure cloud environments, while gaining hands-on experience in AWS networking, cloud security best practices, and infrastructure automation. You’ll work closely with engineers to improve network performance, security posture, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
· Support the maintenance and improvement of cloud infrastructure in AWS, including managing virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and routing tables.
· Assist in implementing cloud security best practices, including working with firewalls, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and network monitoring.
· Learn and work with Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
· Contribute to Python scripting for automating tasks related to cloud networking, security monitoring, and infrastructure management.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for improvement in cloud architecture and security.
· Help document network configurations, security policies, and best practices.
· Assist with troubleshooting and resolving network and security-related issues.
· Participate in the analysis and optimization of cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
· Stay informed on the latest trends in cloud security, network engineering, and infrastructure automation.
