Description

The Model Implementation Specialist functions as part of the Talent & Organizational Development team.  Primary duties include observation and coaching of staff, and serving as a resource for staff implementation of training models in the milieu. The Model Implementation Specialist will support skill development of staff and improved outcomes for the Agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe, coach, and provide in the moment support to staff implementing the Boys Town Psycho-Educational Treatment Model
  • Assists with the delivery of Boys Town Psycho-Educational Treatment Model (PEM) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
  • Communicates staff progress and outcomes with PEM and TCI to supervisory staff.
  • Coordinates with the Fidelity Team in scheduling Overall Program Reviews (OPR).
  • Compiles OPR information into reports and shares with Fidelity Team
  • Assists in PEM and TCI refresher training.
  • Assists with behavior consultations when requested by program management.
  • Works collaboratively with the talent development team to improve organizational performance in PEM and TCI models.
  • Coordinates activities and communicates effectively in person and in writing.
  • Represents the Agency with knowledge and professionalism.
  • Fosters positive relationships with provider agencies.
  • Maintains accurate training schedules and records.
  • Assists in training logistics and coordination of training initiatives.
  • Aids in supervisory development initiatives relative to PEM and TCI.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Talent and Organizational Development.

Qualifications

  • Curriculum expert on both Boys Town PEM as well as TCI edition 7
  • Ability to successfully facilitate group learning and coach small groups.
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Professional communication skills, social skills, and demeanor.
  • Able to safely conduct all aspects of TCI, including physical restraints.
  • Collaboration skills to effectively partner with other areas of the agency to further Elmcrest’s mission.
  • Ability to work independently to carry out projects and supportively as an integral team member.
  • Able to manage and organize multiple tasks and activities including travel within the service areas.
  • Flexibility and willingness to alternate day and evening hours to meet agency needs.
  • Microsoft Office/computer skills.
  • Regular and timely attendance.
  • New York driver license acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Essential Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Able to provide crisis intervention including physical restraints. Restraints may include resistive force, bending, squatting, kneeling, lying down, and holding youth in order to maintain safety.
  • Ability to sit, squat, crouch and stand for elongated periods of time
  • Ability to lift arms over head in upward reaching motion
  • Ability to walk up and downstairs up to several times per day.
