Legal and Administrative Intern

Responsibilities:

Administrative support for the Legal and Technical Operations team as well as other teams as needed. This role requires various administrative tasks such as reviewing, redlining, copying, scanning, organizing, file management, etc. The incumbent works cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources on legal and administrative issues. The Legal and Administrative Intern supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.

Provide support to the Legal, Tech Ops, and Quality Assurance team for assistance with reviewing and redlining contracts, scanning qualification documents from Manufacturing and Quality Control, creating a library check in/out system and potentially uploading documents into MasterControl system.

  • Attention to detail in putting together documents which could be inspected by regulatory agencies and clients, which are critical to be in good order and done accurately
  • File Management: Organize and maintain files
  • Organization: organizing Facilities documents, creating an MS Excel sheet for the documents listing, and other organizing activities as needed
  • Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and prepare written documents like reports and presentations.
  • Data Entry: Update spreadsheets with new information.
  • Scanning: scanning and filing documents
  • Perform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.

  • Ability to learn fast, absorb knowledge, and apply newly learned information daily
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and complete projects in an expeditious and comprehensive manner.
  • Possess an upbeat attitude with the desire to learn new skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to engage in independent work to increase job related knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Pursuing or holding a High School diploma/GED; preferred pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the following applications/platforms:
    1. Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (required)
    2. Adobe (preferred)
