Description

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Emerald clinic.

Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician practices in accordance with laws, regulations, and professional and ethical standards which govern the profession. The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service.  Our Pharmacy Technicians assist our pharmacist in filling prescriptions and helping patients in person or on the phone.

Expected Work Hours
Hours vary between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday and 1-2 Saturday shifts per month from 9am-1pm.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Experience

  • Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Licensure / Certification

  • Current State of Idaho Pharmacy Technician license at hire.
  • Certified Technician license required within 18 months of hire. 

Credentialing

  • Meets established Credentials Committee requirements for Pharmacy Technician scope of practice including fully credentialed, licensed and privileged as well as the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Other

  • We require immunizations for all staff to include an annual influenza vaccine as a requisite for employment. Newly hired staff who are not able to be vaccinated due to medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs must apply for vaccination exemption prior to employment.
