Sr. Technical Program Manager

Locality is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, that will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of various technical projects across the business. From conceptualization to deployment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.  
 

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, milestones, timeline creation, and risk assessment. 

• Possess an understanding of technical concepts and methodologies, enabling you to provide valuable insights and make informed decisions. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external vendors, effectively communicating project progress and addressing concerns. 

• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing contingency plans as needed. 

• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define technical requirements and assess project feasibility. 

• Review technical documentation and provide input to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical standards. 

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, Analysts, Data Scientists, and act as the point of contact with stakeholders, to align project scope and goals. 

• Implement quality control measures and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects meet defined standards and deliver optimal outcomes. 

• Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven history of leading complex cross-functional projects to successful completion. 

• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering technical projects with high impact and multiple stakeholders. 

• Familiarity with one or more programming languages is a plus (e.g., Python, Java). 

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with the ability to apply the most effective approach based on project requirements. 

• Must have a familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. 

• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Confluence or similar platforms. 

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Compensation for the role includes a competitive base salary in the range from $120k-$135k in addition to a bonus (dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset), and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).
